A walk that suits them
Their age, energy and confidence help shape the right outing.
The person behind the lead
A local dog walker, based in Hixon, with a straightforward aim: enjoyable walks for dogs and a dependable service for their people.

I have previous dog-walking experience and started Hound & About to offer a personal service here in Hixon, near Stafford.
I’m a member of NarpsUK and accredited by the Pet Industry Federation (PIF).
I hold the iPET Network Level 3 Award in Canine First Aid, an Ofqual regulated qualification, and have an enhanced DBS check.
I believe a good walk is about more than covering a distance. It’s time outside, interesting smells, a chance to explore and an outing that fits the dog in front of you.
That might mean a small group for a dog who enjoys company, or a quiet private walk with time to take things slowly. The route, pace and routine should make sense for your dog.
Before we arrange any walks, I’d like to meet you both. We’ll talk through your dog’s personality, the care they need and the practical arrangements, so you know who is looking after them.
