I’m based in Hixon and have previous dog-walking experience. I started Hound & About to offer local dogs enjoyable walks and owners a dependable, personal service.
Every dog has a different idea of a good walk. Some like company and a lively explore; others prefer a quiet route and time to take it all in. Getting to know your dog is where we start.
I’m a NarpsUK member, PIF accredited, qualified in Level 3 canine first aid and enhanced DBS checked.

We use Walkies to share your dog’s outings and home visits. GPS walk routes, photos and care updates help you keep up with their day, while your Hound & About portal keeps registration forms and signed agreements together. Walkies holds your appointments, invoices and messages.
Start with a free meet & greet. We’ll talk about your dog’s routine, temperament, health and the walks you need. It’s also a chance for you to meet Ryan before arranging a booking.
Small-group walks are intended for dogs who enjoy canine company. We’ll discuss how your dog behaves around others at the meet & greet. A private walk may be a better choice if they prefer their own space.
Yes. An additional household dog has a reduced rate when both dogs join the same walk. You can see the full breakdown on the prices page.
Any off-lead walking would need your permission and a discussion about recall, temperament and the route. Keeping your dog comfortable and safe comes first.
